Looking Forward

Thresholds is a non-profit social-service agency that provides assistance to Kent County residents with developmental disabilities. The people we help are actively engaged in making a life for themselves and we’re here to support them as they move ahead.

Our Neighbors

4.9 million people in the United States (nearly one out in 50 of us) have a developmental disability. The people we serve are members of the community we all share.

A Home

Comforts of Home

Thresholds’ residential services come with supervision, guidance and training to
help our residents thrive.

Personal Care

Each person we serve is unique and deserves personalized treatment
with dignity and respect.

Everyday Life

Having friends over for dinner, meeting a group for a Whitecaps game, enjoying a concert downtown. Thresholds assists individuals in pursing their interests and passions.

Some of our residents go to work. Others are in school. Many volunteer their time helping the community. Whatever their passion, they get the support to go after it.

Moving Forward

It’s you, the community, who makes all of the great things that Thresholds has the opportunity to do possible.
And it’s up to you to keep it moving forward.
