Welcome to Thresholds!
As a non-profit social service agency, we provide services to Kent County residents who have a developmental disability and to their families. Our mission is to enable adults with developmental disabilities to live as productively and independently as possible in the community.
Thresholds' array of services includes supports coordination services, specialized residential supports and services and respite care supports.
Throughout our history, Thresholds has taken pride in providing mental health services in a manner that puts the person-served first. The core values that guided our formation and that have sustained us during more than 30 years are continuing today with an ongoing emphasis on Person-Centered Planning. Using a Person-Centered Planning process, we provide services that build on an individual’s strengths —honoring their choices and abilities.
